The crucible is vitally concerned with the presentation of truth.The judges of salem are not concerned with seeking the truth.One of the people’s worries is the important of a good name.Judge Danforth is more to blame than Reverend Hale because Danforth refused to accept evedince that witchcraft was not involved ,he was also concerned with the court’s appearance and power,and he also demonstarates a bias in favor of Abegail Williams .
