The moon landing was real because of many reasons. Some people have evidence that it was fake, but there is more evidence to prove it was real.
The moon landing was real because the flag appeared to move, and the people who thought it was fake jumped on the opportunity. They had said that since there was no wind on the moon, the flag was faked. What really happened, said spaceflight historian Roger Launius, that the astronauts “accidentally bent the horizontal rods holding the flag in place” so it created the effect that the flag was rippling. Also, when the astronauts placed the flag down, the inertia and the low gravity kept the flag flying up. Many people argue that the moon landing was fake because the moon is airless but the flag is rippling, but in reality it is because of inertia, and gravity that keep it up.

Many people think it is too defined and is fake. The dust on the lunar surface is like ash, it is easily compressed and shaped, says Phil Plait. It is very dry, so the vacuum of space and the powder of the moon keeps the footprints in pristine shape and well defined. Many people say that the only thing that can keep the shape well defined as that is wet sand, but no running or still water can be found on mars, so another substance has to be there. They said it is only wet sand that can do that, but since there is little to no water, that is not possible. The dust-like soil called regolith, can be easily shaped.
The moon landing was real. Although many people have found pieces of evidence that it could have been faked, it seems unlikely that NASA would spend millions of dollars to fake a big thing. Real historians and astrologers have found scientific evidence to conclude it was real, and the fake evidence is not good
