Reasons as to Why President Obama‘s Administration Escalated War in Afghanistan

Abstract
It is more than nine years since the war between USA and Afghanistan began and it has no signs of coming to an end any time soon (Walgrave, 2010). At this point it is hard for anyone to believe that Obama’s government main objective is to liberate women or human rights or democracy only. Obama’s other motive could be for personal interest, to look tough and ready to protect the state. It is quite obvious that the reason behind the uncontrollable war is ugly. Both parties the Republican and Democratic are not ready to leave Afghanistan as it is a dynamic strategic foothold in Central Asia for United States grand targets in the future. United States plans for Afghanistan was to control it as it threatens the financed puppet rule in Baghdad (Woodward, Obama’s Wars , 2010).

Even with the strong will to create a submissive client state headed by the powerful United States military the president had to stop escalating the war to cut on cost and save lives.
