The United States of America, as a nation is getting bigger. There has been huge economic, political, and environmental growth throughout the country. But there is also a type of growth that is unwanted – the increase of obese and diabetic people. The USA is experiencing a growing population of diabetics and obese people. To stop this surge in obesity, the USA government must issue diet plans and food charts and regulate what the obese population consumes. Adult obesity is becoming dangerously common in the USA. According to the CDC: Division of Obesity, over 34% of Americans are obese, that’s 78.6 million US citizens. This means that for every three adults you meet, there is a good chance that at least one of them is diagnosed with obesity. Also, obesity also comes with many severe health issues. Obesity-related conditions include: Heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, and certain types of cancers.
