How many students would work harder for one reward? Rewards come with hard work and dedication. What would one person do to earn a reward in general? What would high school students do to earn a reward such as open campus lunch? I believe that having an open campus lunch would motivate kids more that strive for good grades, so that they are eligible to leave campus for lunch. Having open campus lunch would give students a head start for the real world. For example, most jobs allow you to leave work at your lunch hour to go wherever and they expect you to come back to work. Open Campus lunch would do the same and make that a responsibility for students that if they left school for open campus lunch they would need to return for their next classes. They believe that kids will do bad things during their lunch hour and not return back for the rest of the day. They have many concerns about safety for their students some other tough decisions that may be life changing for the students and the staff such as maybe a death from the children not being street smart,. We have to look at a bigger picture rather than just thinking that every student will follow the rules and just go home to eat lunch and return that would be a miracle if everyone could follow the rules but it just takes one person to ruin it all.
After reading this do you believe that high school students should be allowed for open campus lunch? This statement has to be passed by the school board and the administration and also even the parents. The parents are going to have to voice their opinion during this time of deciding. They have to realize that it takes a big part to becoming an adult and this is giving them a head start for their future to really test if there child is ready for the real world or
