Eccentricities and Pet Peeves Have you ever questioned your biggest pet peeve? Or have ever thought about the things that make you eccentric? Reading while listening to music, and always tying your left shoe before your right can be considered eccentricities. Eccentricities are weird or quirky things one has a habit of doing. Slow walkers, loud eaters, and pen clickers are examples of some of the most common pet peeves. The definition of a pet peeve, is something that a particular person finds especially annoying. The key aspect of both eccentricities and pet peeves is that everyone’s is different. Now that I have explained what they both mean, I'm now going to discuss my personal eccentricities and pet peeves.

While writing this paper I have come to the realization, that I have many pet peeves. To spare time, I will only be writing about my most agonizing pet peeves. I many random eccentricities, but they do not seem unnecessary to me. For instance when I watch tv, the volume has to be an even number. I don't know why, but somehow the odd numbers really bother me. For example volume is 28 and I want to turn it up, it has to be 32 and not 31. Another eccentricity I take part in doing, is wearing earrings everywhere I go. Many people have their ears pierced and don't always wear earrings, but not me. For example could have worn a great outfit, but if I had forgotten to wear earrings it could have easily been ruined. It has even gotten to the point where I keep spare
