The “Pit bull” is a slang term that isn’t even an actual breed. This dog is misunderstood by many people. The first impression of this dog usually is misread. People tend to believe the myths and rumors, instead of actually learning about the dog. But that's what statistics are for. The mischaracterization of pit bull breeds are very common. Although the history of pit bulls in America proves that these dogs were believed to develop a nation. To begin, these dogs are popular in gang-subculture by being forced into the fighting rings and trained to be aggressive. This dog is at the top of the list of being the most euthanized pet. People tend to make assumptions about pits, because of rumors that have been spread about the breed. Others claim that it is in the pitbull genes that make them so aggressive sometimes. Although it is not in their blood to become aggressive.
If there has been an incident with a pit being aggressive it is most likely because of how they were raised or an incident that created the aggression. Pit bulls should be treated and trained a different way. Pit bulls are mis-identified, they are rated very high by the American Temperament Test Society. If they took the approach of banning the pitbull breed it is important to see the full scope. All dogs are products of their own genes. They have primarily been bred to become family companions.
