As we all know, school lunches are a big part of children's and young adults lives during school. Children need healthy food to keep their brain going, as well as young adults to stay strong. According to article II, “Growing children need a well-balanced diet to prevent malnutrition and promote proper brain development. In addition to affecting their bodies, diets affect a student's learning ability. US President Lyndon B. Johnson took major steps in national lunch regulations, explaining, Good food is essential to good learning.”
“According to a study in Britain, students who ate healthy school meals were 3.4 times more likely to focus on their studies than other kids. In Bangladesh, children who received fortified biscuits as part of their school meals secured 16% better scores than those who did not.” Not only does healthy food keep kids strong and healthy, but it helps them to stay focused and score better in school.

Maybe the reason why is that they may not look appetizing. Or they just straight out taste bad. Meat, milk and cheese are packed with calories and saturated fat, and they play a huge role in the obesity epidemic.”
In conclusion, the government, schools, and parents still have a lot of work to do when it comes to school and at home lunches. We all need to work together to fix this problem that we, as a nation has created. Maybe start with something small like more salads at school but still work towards our
