There was great controversy related to screen time for teenagers and multiple, valid viewpoints from each side of the spectrum. First, many were against the idea that simply being on a screen is what is ruining teens mental and physical health. Implying that cyberbullying and the time spent on technology during school hours were a more effective factor to this lifestyle. Also a major issue was how our society is a “selfie” binging generation, that doesn’t know how to deal with an addiction like so. Many wonder if this addiction will truly have an effect on the physical and emotional health of teenagers, some also see the other aspects connected to this issue as a bigger problem.
