What would I propose to reduce gun violence in the United States and around the World without citizens to acquire and still possess firearms? I would propose a bill to congress to reconstruct the second amendment, along with would propose a global amendment on firearms to the United Nations. I would propose and require the following: global ban on assault weapons, license to obtain a firearm, installed GPS on firearms, set age limit to 25 obtain guns, firearm education class with every firearm license renewal, gun vendors to have a license, and written explanation on why wanting to own a gun. I would suggest that the bill goes into effect immediately. There is an explanation for everything I stated.
The Framing Fathers of the constitution never intended for citizens to have military grade weapons, due to the fact we have a well formed Militia. There should be a ban on assault weapons due to the reason of it being a military grade weapon, which is for the purpose of combat use. There were numerous events in the United States and around the world where assault weapons consumed a lot of lives.
