Introduction In general, splint is an external device that used to protect and prevent the movement of the body parts that injured. The aim is to prevent from having any further injury which will cause serious problems to our body. (kalau tak pakai splint apa yang akan jadi kepada pesakit?) Splint can be custom made or pre-made. Occupational and physical therapist are responsible to make a splint according to different type of body couture and type of injury of the patient. In addition, splint development is done according to anatomy principle. This is to ensure it is not against the alignment of the body. In the process of making a splint, there are tools and equipment that we needed to produce a splint. There are several tools that are used to help in producing a splint. There are water tank scissors, cutters, bending bar, hand drill, heavy duty revolving punch pliers, economy revolving punch pliers, 90 degree wire bender, tube bender tool, outrigger rods, T-Anvil, flat nose pliers, round nose pliers, outrigger line connectors and crimping tool, dial thermometer, hot gun, baster, spatula, measuring tape, splint markers, disappearing ink pen, jack rabbit hand pump, scratch awl, wedges and small towel. …show more content…
