Every action has a consequence. The day I chose to go down the path that lead to me having to be cared all the way from my school to my bed. Growing up I really had a huge excitement for football, starting in the 2006 season of the NFL I started to watch the Chicago Bears every sunday. I noticed a player with the jersey number 23 that goes by the name of Devin Hester. He caught my attention because of how fast he was and how quick he could get past people in a tight situation. Watching Bears games every sunday lead to me falling in love with the sport of football. I joined teams growing up from the age of 10 into I was 17. I play wide receiver which is the person who catches the ball from the quarterback and I also play quarterback on some plays. It came down to one of the plays where I had the chance to play quarterback and I was hyped up. Since this was a event through by the school but not by the school football team and since it was all friendly competition the rules wasn't as strict. So right before the play I took my shoes off because of the belief I gained over the years that if I took my shoes off I could run faster.
The play had started and I called for the center to snap me the ball 1 mississippi 2 mississippi all the way up into 4 and no one was open on the pass play. So I took off running I can feel how heavy my feet are hitting the ground. Thump Thump Thump as my feet stomp against the grass and dirt. As the defender run towards me I try to make a hard cut to the left to catch the defender off balance and get past him. My toes rolled up under my foot as I took the cut left and I felt instant pain and I couldn't run no more I barely could put my feet on the ground. Snatch the defender to my flags
