SUMMRY OF ARTICLE : Most of the decisions in our lives use to be under pressure or stress, which sometimes leads to select the wrong decision.
This study explained that many people make decisions when they are under stress. Some right decisions are made when they were in an emergency position. Also, there are a lot of wrong decision have been made under-stress. There are many health effects occur because of stress such as cardiovascular diseases, psychiatric diseases, and psychosomatic diseases. Also, it stimulates people to do unwholesome lifestyle such as smoking, drinking, and unhealthy eating habitat. So, stress may lead to indirect health effects, which cause people to have negative impacts in long-term. This experiment

The impacts that examined by laboratory stress when making decision were used in this study, the decision-making and stress responses had been measured. In addition, other studies described the decisions making by healthy people with natural stress and people who have a stress disorders. According to Theoretical approaches to decision making in the review, psychological research found that "decision" is a very important role. It has different levels of uncertainty depending on the outcome expectation. There are continuum for every decision, start with the " complete ignorance "which is when the outcomes are not known, then "uncertainty" which is when there is known outcome with unknowing probabilities, the "risk" which is when the probabilities are identified, finally "certainty" which is when the result is known for single outcome. Decisions rely on regions of brain on many conditions especially when some one under high uncertainty, which the processing of feedback involved, and sensitive punishment are involved too. When primary rewards are delivered, the activation in the dorsal and ventral striatum is increasing. For example, food or drinks are primary rewards. Money as secondary reward get high activation when participants face an emergency work on the outcome. While there is a different in the activation patterns' …show more content…
So, each region was assumed to do a specific function, which are highly related with the specific region. According to Theoretical and methodological approaches to stress, it is hard to observe people reactions directly so; they used the questionnaires to observe reactions that include tension and pressure. Neurobiological correlates of stress reactions conclude that there are metabolic changes in regions in brain that have stress hormones receptors when someone expose to acute stress. Moreover, there is an interaction between the hormonal stress response and the neural response. The increasing of ventral striatum activation will affect a lot if decision types that lead to high reward sensitivity. Under a risky condition, the stress made a role in the decision making which affect the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex. Thus, that will change the function of strategy use. On prefrontal and limbic regions, stress effects are affecting the exposure of decisions in a moderate degree uncertainty which lead to inconsistent balance between the responses in automated emotional and deliberate calculative. It should be a confirmation that if the stress causes to high advantage or disadvantage decision making in different situation. The result of these studies
