According to the universal declaration of human rights Article 25, "Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food, clothing, housing and medical care and necessary social services, and the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond his control.
Motherhood and childhood are entitled to special care and assistance. All children, whether born in or out of wedlock, shall enjoy the same social protection.

Center for health and human rights is a free clinic. Their patient must be uninsured and they must have individual or family income of less than 200% above the federal poverty line. Also,If the patient qualifies for affordable commercial, state or federal health insurance, they will be enrolled in these programs with the help of CHHR. health care is very expensive in the U.S and so many people cannot see a provider because of money. There are some doctors who Decline to provide substandard care, and therefore any care at all or urge the patient to proceed despite the expense. which is not ethical.

Doctors in this clinic take care of patients even if they don't have money to pay them. In some cases if patients need to be seen by other doctors they help the patients to pay for the other doctors office visits. recently they had a fundraising for their cancer patient. They had a 31 years old woman with breast cancer. So, On April 16th, 2016, Center for Health and Human Rights planned a fundraiser benefit to support the patient during her most difficult time to help her financially and spiritually. The Fundraiser was successful beyond measure and they passed their target $30,000 in 4 weeks by grassroots
