How many of you wish you could have received a gift from a loved one who has passed? How many of you even wished you could have seen your loved ones before they passed? Loosing a loved one is hard but sometimes when you have belongings from them, it makes it easier. It's a little piece to hold onto in memory of them, something to look at and think of them. My memory is my grandmother, let me tell you about the gift she gave to me ,a special treasure in me.

My grandmother was a special person, sweet as a piece of candy and delicate as a rose. She always gave before she received and helped people who was in need. Even when she was loosing memory of those around her, she couldn't help, but to make sure people still had a smile on their face.

I didn't like the way; I looked I believed myself to be ugly and fat. My mom would always tell me I'm beautiful but that's my mom, so she has to say that right? Family such as cousins and aunts would call me fat and tell me to go loose so weight . God sent me an angel , my grandmother she made me feel beautiful .

Loretta, which is my grandma's, name gave me the gift of love, strength, and confidence. I went to her, and she told me "baby lift your head up you are beautiful,and don't ever forget that." Loretta also told me "honey they're just jealous because they're not as pretty as you ." These simple words have stuck with me ever since I was a little girl, and they will never leave. My grandmother held me up when I didn't even know how to walk, and I'm so grateful.

A treasure is something priceless something that money cannot buy, and you will cherish forever. My grandmother's words are a valuable treasure to me, more than anything bought. Some people think a treasure is gold from an island or plenty of Jewelry, but I'm here to say it's so much more than that. Gold can get spent, jewelry can get old and rusty but words of wisdom can never go to waist. Know that I've shared my treasure, I would like to know , what'
