How did the stronger nations end up overshadowing the weaker nations? Europe had stronger, more developed weapons that helped them overcome Africa. Africa didn't have the tools and materials Europe had that defeated them, this led to Europe, having economic power over Africa, which was of course a pro for them and a con for Africa. What was the reason Europe took control over Africa and caused imperialism? Stronger nations defeated the weaker nations because of economics, politics, and technology. Economics was a huge part in the background of European imperialism in Africa. In Document D the main topic is Economics it shows the materials and tools imported from Africa to Europe. Most of the materials are metals like, gold, diamonds, copper, zinc , lead, coal, etc.. including food and clothing like for example, coffee, sugar, waterproof clothes and fabrics for the people. For instance, in Document F, “Take up the White Man’s burden- Send forth the best ye breed- Go bind your sons to exile To serve your captains need;” In this passage, it explains how Europe is the best and shows that the “white men” are the ones responsible for the reason behind imperialism. This is also an example that resolves the reasons of suffrage and violence. Without politics, imperialism wouldn't have happened in the first place.Politics influenced the war in many different ways positive and negative.. Although Imperialism in Africa had its pros and cons it had a big impact on our world today. Without the history of imperialism, we wouldn't be where we are in modern time. There may have been violence and suffering during this time period but we still couldn't have done anything to change that. It helped create the technology we have today and the economic field we are in. Throughout everything imperialism may have had a negative effect, but came with a positive one
