Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. They can be fictional or nonfictional. Maybe a hero is a child or possibly an ordinary person. People can also have multiple heroes.
Whenever I think of my current hero Eva Benitez comes to mind. She’s strong-willed, caring, and stands up for what she believes. Sometimes in life a hero can commit minute acts of kindness.

It was race against race, everyone fighting to kill. This didn’t only happen in the streets or in school, it also happens when you’re shopping. There was a couple of young African American’s trespassing on Latino territory. They walk inside the store next thing you hear is a couple of gunshots, the owner of the store is shot and killed, and he was a Chinese man.
The cops show up and arrest an African American. Eva goes to talk to her father and she knew what she had to do. Eva had to lie to protect her own just like her father did. Trial comes to the murder of the Chinese man, and Eva had to decide between protecting her people and telling the truth. Eva looks around at her mom, gang, and the
“killer’s family”. Eva says “paco did it”, she told the truth.
It’s sad when you live in a place of uncertainty, also that it’s not even safe to go to school. Eva is my hero because she put up with it, she went out of the house, even though there was a feeling she wouldn’t return. Eva was a strong young girl, she puts up with danger every day of her life. She also now lived with the danger of being jumped for sticking up for what’s right in court. Still Eva hasn’t given up, and she never will. This is why Eva Benitez is my
