Eve Bayou was a very interesting movie, it was very open ended, meaning the viewer were free to make their own judgements and decide how the plot occurred. Eve Batiste is the main character of the movie and she goes through a roller coaster throughout this film. She is the daughter of a Louis who is a doctor and often cheat on his wife with his young patients. Eve seems to be a very cheerful girl until she discovers her dad cheating on her mom and is shocked by what she witnesses. After this point, everything seems to go downhill for her.
Although Louis cheat on his wife and seems to look like a bad person, but he is a very good father such that even after his daughter finds out about his truth, he is able to calm her down and makes a promise
