When looking at the two stories “Everything Will Be Okay” by James Howe and “Raymond’s Run” by Toni Cade Bambara, you may feel they have very little in common. One about a cocky girl who runs races and the other about a boy who wants a cat but it is too sick. But if you dig just below the surface you will find how similar they truly are. In both stories. the authors show how you have to make your own decisions and not let others tell you what to do.
