In the session client’s feeling, she feels panic, scared and feels uncertain about the future. In the
Beginning, she is going to read the pregnancy test result. On another hand she was scared of the pregnancy test result.After reading the test result, she was scared and panic. She is panic because she doesn't know about her future especially about her academic how is she going to school when she is pregnant. Also, should she keep the baby or should she have an abortion?Another hand she feels scared because she doesn't know what her boyfriend will react to her pregnancy and the baby is not his, she is scared that her boyfriend will leave and hate her. Also, she is scared what her parents will react to her pregnancy. Will her parents hate her?Also, make her parent feel disappointed?
Assessment of Self
During in the conversation, I don’t know how to handle this topic. Also, I am nervous in the conversation. Because my client is teenage and especially she is pregnant. Teenage pregnancy is the very sensitive topic, and they are fragile. Especially when the client role plays as herself and I roleplay as her mother. …show more content…
To check how she is doing between the last session and this session. In the session first, I will check how is she doing in school and at home. Then I will ask her if she has talked to her parents about she is pregnant. If she didn’t talk to her parents. I will ask her how her feeling as if she is talking to her parents she did talk to her parents; I will ask how does it go? If she feels very negative about the conversation with her parents. Then I will use ABCD chart with her. The next step I will ask her if she decides for the baby? If she decides to keep the baby, I will set up a doctor appointment for the prenatal care. Also, suggest talking to her boyfriend about her situation. If she doesn't what to say then we can role play as I am her boyfriend and she is
