One of my main goals that I wish to accomplish in my practicum placement is to be familiar and comfortable in a clinical setting. Since I have never been in this type of environment, I hope to become aware of how to act in certain instances. I will do this by observing and asking my supervisor about their experiences. Particularly, if I get to work in a school environment with children, some of my goals would include understanding mental disorders (Autism, conduct disorders, learning disabilities) and how they affect children in their day to day lives.
