The closing arguments of Atticus Finch are some of the most important words said in both the book and movie together. In the closing arguments Atticus shows pity and disgust for the people in the room because they had all lied for a white man who had clearly beaten his own daughter. Along with the fact that there was no evidence stating Tom Robinson had committed the act of rape. In fact there was even some evidence proving he in fact was not guilty, but was accused of the crime.

In the arguments Atticus points out there is no evidence stating the accused crime even happened and that the evidence handed to them by the only witnesses was under serious question and the reports from the witnesses were under serious question. Along with the
