I feel like one the hardest thing about being a Christian is understanding the difference between knowing Christ and having a relationship with him. I accept Christ when I was six years old because I believed I was a sinner and he died on the cross to take that away from me. However, I never fully understand what it was like to have a relationship with him until I was in high school. Now that I understand that; as I Christian I see how it affects other people who don’t have a relationship with him.
Over the years being a Christian I have come to discover how people view the Christianity faith. One of the hardest struggles with the Christian faith is “how can our God let bad things happen?” Even as a Christian it’s a hard question but as a Christian I am able to say that I know that everything that my father lets happens there is reason for it. I trust that he will handle it in whatever way he decides and that he cares for me not matter what the outcome. However, people do not believe that is the case and it is hard for them to accept the Christian faith as it is.
I believe society does not want to change. They want to continue living their own lives. They know that as Christians they are supposed to repent their sins and walk by faith. It’s a hard concept for them to accept so then they just don’t.
The biggest “issue” with the Christian faith is that it’s about faith. It’s about the unseen. People want something tangible. IF they can’t see it they don’t believe.
