Elie Wiesel went through a terrifying experience, during those moments he uses language related to death, darkness, night, and decay to convey the horrors around him. The book Night is named after the horror he went through. Ellie Wiesel wanted to try to tell us about his horror through describing death, darkness, night, and decay. Hear are some examples of Elie Wiesel describing the death, darkness, night, and decay he witnessed. First I will share examples of Elie sharing death. "He had created Auschwitz, Birkenau, Buna, and so many other factories of death?" In the part of the book Elie is talking about how he was confused with God and he wonders why God created Auschwitz, Birkenau, Buna, etc. Wiesel also calls the factories, "factories of death". When the German soldiers first arrived at the Jewish community Elie thought everything was going to be alright however when he saw the fire at Auschwitz he saw death.
