Excessive Pride is a dangerous trait to have in a spouse, Lady Macbeth realized that her husband had excessive pride and used that to manipulate him to do what she wanted. Macbeth is responsible for his own downfall and not Lady Macbeth,he had his own agency to murder Duncan, but he went on with it.
