From school, to clubs, to sports, to homework, students today are busier than ever.
Today, students are encouraged to join as many clubs and organizations as they can. Involvement in the community and school demonstrates leadership and time management to potential colleges. However, there are also some downfalls to extracurriculars in schools. Holden Caulfield, the protagonist in The Catcher in the Rye, demonstrates one of these downfalls at his school Pencey Prep.
