Most people don’t like failures. They see them as a collapse, the proof that their plan was not successful or their ideas weren’t good enough. However, the truth is everyone will fail and through those failures we will grow and learn. In the book “Animal Farm”, there are many examples of failure from the characters that can be learned from. Specifically, the animals’ lack of teaching was the reason why there was much failure within the farm. Education provides successfulness and equality in today’s society. Learning from the animals’ uneducated behavior, the reader can takeaway this promise: failure is a new opportunity to begin again.
Lack of education and knowledge can allow people to be unsuccessful. In the book, “Animal Farm”, the animals were being and taken advantage of because of their lack of education. They couldn’t read the commandments, and that caused Napoleon to change them into what he wanted without them knowing. This lead to major failure within the farm. In the book “Animal Farm”, it said “all animals are equal”, but that’s not true because the animals, who were not educated, were lied to (pg. 25). The animals were obviously not equal because the leader, Napoleon, felt like everyone under him was inferior. Later on as Napoleon took over, he changed the commandment to “all animals are equal, but some more than others” (pg.25). Today, everybody is considered to have equal rights, but yet we live in a world with people who believe others are inferior and judge against race and finances. This is where we have failed. We live in a democracy where everybody is able to make something of themselves. The education that we have allows us to be equal among our peers. We are not inferior because we know what everyone else
