Once a person becomes lovestruck, they get to a point where they would do anything to be with their significant other. Romeo & Juliet by William Shakespeare is a tragic love story that tells of two people from rebel families who fall in love. They become so in love that they decide to get married. Once they are married a string of ill-fated events happen that strain their relationship. They’d rather die than be apart so they kill themselves. Shakespeare uses three pivotal moments to foreshadow remarkably tragic events: the balcony scene, Mercutio’s death, and before Romeo travels to Mantua. A love so strong that they’d rather die than be apart. During the famous balcony scene Romeo says that he’d couldn’t dare to live without Juliet. Mercutio’s death is one way to foreshadow dreadful events, another moment when this happens is right before Romeo’s
