I think the main image of manhood is you must be strong, loyal, patriotic, independant, hardworking and social in the story Macbeth. Men in Macbeth are also very focused on money and power. That was then end goal as a man to be the most powerful and rich. To be a soldier is to fight for you country and care for others. But a hero is one who made the right choice and saved the day. To raise men in power is to make the end goal to be in control of everyone and everything. You want your child to be the best of the best. Men interact as if they are better than each other they are competitive. They want to be the best just like when raising your child it affects how they interact for with friends. When acting with women they want to make themselves sound better than they are they want to sound better than the rest of the men. They seem to talk about the great qualities and they have it seems to be more about themselves then the girl. Manhood in Macbeth presents itself in a very selfish way trying to attract others. Put others before themselves rather than being selfish. Do not want power they want to help others. They care more for others well being then they do about their problems. Men are not raised to be powerful they are raised to service their community. They treat women and friends like they are above others, putting them first always caring and kind. In the book Macbeth always tried his best to care and protect his friends and family. He never left them unprotected. Others would also argue he never stopped working to give his family the best life possible, they lived in a castle, they were safely guarded and had money.
