In the (Crucible) the girls in the salem town start accusing people with witchcraft which puts 25 of them to be hanged. Kids and teens can very easily be swayed, media is everywhere in the world, human’s reactions played a big part in this hysteria. History will keep repeating itself in the case of mass hysteria. Kids and teens can spread mass hysteria among themselves very fast. They are very Gullible, and easily frightened. The Crucible shows how mass hysteria can ruin a community. Hysteria is most clearly seen in the villagers inane acceptance of the girls fabricated claims of witchcraft. One specific example of hysteria occurs when the girls of Salem town accuse Mary Warren of witchcraft to prevent her from testifying against them. Though many people, including Mary Warren have claimed that the witchcraft accusations are false, but the court does not back down and still thinks that there is a witch in the town (15 Times people were consumed by Mass Hysteria 1).
