The journa articl reviwed Moving the misdiagnosis debate forward, serves as the tip of the iceburg on the cataclysmic resluts of missing the diagnosis or misdiagnosis of psychiatric illness around the world. Kwame McKenzie provides a push at one of the most impactful discussions in the mental health field today, the misdagnosis of clients with the additonal focus on minority populations. This journal article deals with uses of misdiagnosis on an institutional level as well as indivual bases and hypothese of why these misdiagnosis may be occuring. The article utililizes mulitple cases of the African- Caribbeans population in the UK and the phenomena of how many have been misdiagnosed with mental illness such as schiophrenia.
