Have you ever been misjudged? The Crucible, a play written by Arthur Miller, is based on the Salem Witch Trials that describes the misjudgement and false accusation that the people of Salem had to undergo, otherwise known as a “witch hunt”. A witch hunt is the discrimination or false accusation of someone who did nothing wrong but is subjected to discrimination. In the play several young girls claim to be affected by witchcraft and go around falsely accusing people of Salem. Witchcraft was eventually disproved after 19 people were hanged and 1 was crushed.
