In the novel To Kill a Mockingbird the book shows many misunderstandings in the society the characters live in. It shows this from the point of view of a child because children don't understand many things and the story is showing how society is honest to the children. children first hear a rumor and believe it but then with time the society gives them the truth, children in other cases don't understand what can be true, and finally children get a good response with the questions they ask on what they misunderstood.

The misunderstandings shown from the point of view of a child is done because children believe different stories before they know the actual story. IN the story scouts says this to Miss Maudie “ Maybe he died and they stuffed
