Modern Society

Throughout the years society is constantly changing evolving to fit into a more “modern society”. As times change so are the views of a modern society. So what does it mean to be a person in modern society? In a modern society people never settle for less than what makes them happy, They try to keep up with appearances and live a lavish lifestyle, and people live in a false reality.

Although society has changed there seems to be one thing constant throughout the years of change people never settle for less then what makes them happy. Tom was imagining and hoping for better life. Some may think that Tom was just living a normal life and his hopes and dreams were not a false reality. However living in a false reality is being blind to what is really going on and that’s exactly what happened to Tom and what happens to many of us. People are blind to what is really happening and going on and hope for a new reality when really there’s isn’t that bad after all.

Although the world’s views on “modern society” are changing there seems to remain three things that stay the same following your dreams, living a lavish lifestyle, and living in a false reality. We are not defined as being “modern” unless we live by these rules that society tends to create. To be “modern” is to live by these
