Mutual interdependence was in the beginning of the play, when all the animals worked together to plan to gain independence from the their farmer, Mr. Jones, for a better life.
Foot in the door phenomenon was displayed in the play when the pig were able to convince the other animals to start doing small things such as have the other animals do the work while the pigs plan and lead the group. Later on the inforce more difficult tasks to the other animals such as giving up some of their food to sell to the humans and building a windmill.
Frustration Aggression hypothesis occurred when Napoleon was fed up with an animal or multiple animals for not listening to him or not doing his will, so he would send his trained dogs to cause fear inside them to make obey. If they still did not obey his command then the dogs would kill the animal. A specific example was when Snowball had a different idea for the windmill than Napoleon. The two pigs argued about whose idea to use and after a while of Napoleon got frustrated with the situation, so he sent his dogs to attack Snowball which ended Snowball’s life.

In the beginning of the play it caused the animals to comply to Mr. Jones commands and it caused the animals to obey the pigs when they ruled.
Collectivism culture was the whole basis of the play since it was about communism or “animalism,” which is an example of collectivism culture. Animalism was intended to give equality to all animals such as equal amounts of food, land and work. It was supposed to benefit the whole group over the individual which changed throughout the play into dictatorship as Napoleon lead the
