Hamlet is a tragedy drama that was written around 1600 by William Shakespeare. It is also one of most recognizable dramas by him. Several lines are used throughout literature today all over the world. Hamlet is one of the main characters. Hamlet is an INTJ type of person. An INTJ type of person is introverted, intuition, thinking, judgement. Hamlet is an INTJ type of character because he is overthinking, emotionally weak, and suicidal. Hamlet is an INTJ type of character because he is overthinking. He is overthinking his father’s death. He is taking it to the extreme. The king says, “To give these mourning duties to your father; but you must know, your father lost a father” (I.2.88-89). The king is saying to Hamlet that death is a natural occurrence and that everybody dies. He is saying that Hamlet should not overthink it so much. Death happens to everybody. Hamlet’s overthinking leads to himself feeling bad about himself. He feels bad that his father died and he could not do anything to save him. He feels that he should have done something to help. Hamlet can be classified as emotionally weak because of his father dying. He is upset that he died and it is making feelings come out that he does not want to experience. Another reason Hamlet is emotionally weak is because he is upset that his mother is marrying again. Hamlet says, “...She married. O, most -wicked speed, to post with such dexterity to incestuous sheets! It is not, nor it cannot come to good. But break my heart, for I must hold my tongue" (I.2.156-15\). He is upset that his mother is marrying so soon after his father’s death to his uncle. He feels that she should have waited longer and it is making him upset. Hamlet does not like when things do not go his way because it makes him feel weak and not able to
