“Racism in To kill a mockingbird” In the book to kill a mockingbird by Harper Lee there was a lot of racism and a lot of decisions were made because of race or color in this essay I will be telling you about the different things that were racist. There were also some good things that happened in the book .
The book contained a lot of racism ,but the main thing was Tom Robinsons trial where he was convicted of rape because he was black and the jury was all white and they decided he was guilty. There was one guy that tried to help and he was Atticus Finch who represented Tom Robinson but the townspeople were not happy and started calling Atticus mean and racist names but that didn't stop him.
