While looking for the required links prior to starting the class I was able to gain a lot of tips and suggestions for how to be successful in taking a college course. The website www.howtostudy.org gave some excellent study skills. I was able to gain a lot of information on textbook reading,
1. Scan the chapter first
2. Read the first and last paragraph
3. Read the chapter more than once, to effectively comprehend what I am reading
I am a prior college student and one of the valuable life lesson I learned in working to attain my Associate Degree as a Computer Support Specialist was to keep a planner or calendar always available. I would schedule everything in my planner, work, school and family time. This helped

About obtaining a Liberal Arts education we are to “develop good thinking habits, develop an active engagement with knowledge, and good judgment requires the ability to think independently.” Harris, R. (2010) I had the opportunity to take several Liberal Art courses,

however Art 101 was one of my many favorite courses, my eyes were opened to all possibilities of Art from its contours, lines, contrast, and forms of presentation. This experience opened my mind to be receptive to learning, appreciate what’s being taught and try to incorporate what I have learned in my daily life.
Subsequently, since taking the Art course whenever I have some spare time, I visit the High
