Existential dilemma is a moment where an individual has to make a decision where either one would threaten one’s life. Daru from The Guest and Will from “High Noon” both face existential dilemma with homogeneous attributes in engenderment and time given to make decisions and differences in what they face and consequences to that decision. Similarities are that they are solitary during the event and do not have much time to make the decision with their situation.
