Conclusion:

The predominant objective of the experiment Laboratory Techniques and Measurements was for me to get introduced to the world of using laboratory equipment so that I could be familiar with the proper techniques one should use when doing an experiment. Also this experiment is intended for me to get comfortable with measuring different objects like a magnet, bolt, and a glass rod using a ruler. Having read the Helpful Hints and Modified Procedures it reminded me to always record my answers with all the marks and one estimated digit when measuring in cm. Not only that, I had the ability to measure out temperature using a thermometer. Thankfully I work in a compounding pharmacy where I measure out chemicals and check the temperature of certain compounds. Knowing that knowledge it helped me tremendously calculate the necessary temperature of the hot boiling water and the ice cold water. One thing that refreshed my mind was from reading the Helpful Hints and Modified Procedures about waiting five minutes to calculate the temperature of the boiling
