What was the environment in which you were raised? Describe your family, home, neighborhood, or community, and explain how it has shaped you as a person.

The environment in which I was raised was a very good one to be raised in. I have great parents, an awesome sister, and two dogs. I have a supportive community and a nice neighborhood. All of these things have shaped me to be the person I am today.

My parents have always told me that if I want to do something great in life, I’m going to have to work hard for it. This is what has made me the hard worker I am today. At home, everyone has jobs around the house. For example, I mow the yard and take out the trash. Doing chores and helping out my parents around the house has taught me responsibility. …show more content…
For example, I learned to say ‘yes sir’ or ‘yes mam’ when I was told to do something. Also they taught me to look someone in the eyes while they are speaking. I think that respect is very important because it’s how you maintain quality relationships in life.

Inside and outside of school I try to surround myself with people that will have a positive impact on my learning and life. Hanging out with the right group of people is very important to succeed. You don’t want to hang out with people that will bring you down.
