The three skills I would bring to the political process are: empathy, active listening and interpersonal skills. I picks these people they would help me do my job better. I choose Empathy because looking at a situation with understanding and identifying from the point of view of who is in front of you is a great skill to have. I choose active listening because politicians do a lot of listening and the ability to be engaged in the conversation is important. People need to feel like they are heard.
