"What Role Should The Government Play In Monitoring The Internet Content? The Government should always be able to monitor the internet content that people are searching because they could be purchasing illegal items. Today a lot of people have weird minds and cannot control themselves when using the internet. A lot of criminals like to use the internet to do research on people and find out things about them which are alright but when they start searching up how to hurt individuals and create weapons that are when the government needs to get involved. Especially in school systems, they need to be monitored all the time because students could be watching inappropriate videos or just searching up bad things in general, but the government doesn’t need to get involved in that unless they are searching up how to make bombs or something along those lines.
I think it is a great idea to have the government always monitoring internet content and to be able to take down inappropriate websites down that that not suitable for the human eye to see. Hopefully, in the near future they will have a system that they can monitor what ages are trying to see certain sites and can block it from them until they are eighteen or twenty-one
