First drafts make writers uncomfortable because they don't have a clue on anything yet. When you write the first draft, its ideas, thoughts, no real meaning to anything. It's to help you explore your ideas and discover new ones. It's usually just a bunch of words that you have to search through to find what you were looking for. This makes writers uncomfortable because it's unknown yet, writers would usually just want to skip this process and get to the final product because it's very stressful. It's a mess and that makes writers think that their essay, report, or book is also going to be a mess. I too think like this as a writer. I like trying to get to the final product as fast as possible,
