I hold a high standard for myself and have many goals in life I wish to accomplish, being accepted into the National Honor Society is one of them. I believe that I should challenge myself in everything I do. I have learned that the comfort zone is the most dangerous place to reside, and being complacent will never allow me to succeed in any aspects of my life. My willingness to not only persevere but to thrive, is a quality that is meant for the National Honor Society. I feel that I have eminent leadership capabilities and further my own education by challenging myself daily with my academics and many other things. I hope being apart of the National Honor Society will help me advance my leadership abilities and character qualities.

One of my favorite things to do is to help people. In times like today, I feel that it is most important to have a generation that is willing to be patient and is set forth in being proactive with assisting those in need. In the future, I hope to become a social worker so I

In November, the team and I traveled to Washington D.C. and attended a three day conference on how to gain leadership skills and how to positively put them in effect in today’s society using twenty first century problems. The Leadership Team is where I lead a bible study with a group of high school girls once a week and encourage them in their walk with Christ and faith development. I personally enjoy seeing each of the girls grow in their faith and become more confident in who they are in Christ. This experiences had been incredibly humbling and something I hope to do throughout my high school career. I am looking forward to the experiences and knowledge I will gain if I am granted the opportunity to become apart of the National Honor Society.
