There are many factors that influences people to go to college. Factors such as

undecided career path, financial problems, and that college is not necessary in

order to be successful although college is not needed to do well in life it is

beneficial in order to make the maximum amount of money in any field.

However, my reason for going to college is to further pursue my education in

nursing. There are not much ways to achieve this goal so in order to achieve my

goal I must go to college. Nursing is not an easy thing to go to college for

when the average time a person spends in college 3 to 5 years. Throughout those

After interviewing my mother who attended Damon college and Laguardia

community college, she described her decision as difficult yet necessary she states

how she mostly went to college to provide a better life for her family and to be

financially stable. The that made her pursue nursing was her having an sickly

parent and she wasn't able to help them and that is what fueled her. Factors that

has influenced my decision to go to college are poverty and to exceed people's

expectation of me. Another reason that I want to go to college is to help people

that are sick and the only way to do that besides volunteering is to get a degree

in nursing. The reason that I personally want to go college for nursing is manly

because I enjoy assisting and caring for other people.

To conclude, there are many reasons for me to attend college but when it

comes down to it I am going to attend for self betterment. Their statistics that are

against me such as graduation rates. However it is completely up to me
