Jack should be prosecuted Jack's irresponsible behavior as a leader and being involved in theft, second-degree murder, and endangering the welfare of children is evidence that proves Jack should be prosecuted for his crimes. His lack of thought ultimately leads to the downfall of him and the rest of the children. He disregards the safety of others by participating in Piggy's death and the manipulative etiquette he uses to take control of his peers.
Those who were involved in Simon’s death should also be punished, however, Jack had the boys under the influence to do so and is therefore guilty.
