Data shows that most second hand smokers tend to evolve into full time smokers. This was mainly proven during the 50’s when citizens didn’t care where they smoked and advertised smoking in all places. If public places allowed this to happen potential smokers will increase significantly. Also the environment is already damaged by the industrial influence but, another contributor are smokers. They exhale fumes into the air. It might not be as damaging as factories but, still brings the natural environment down. Adolescents and younger are usually most easily convinced to try smoking by seeing or witnessing others. Therefore, smoking should not be allowed at parks and other outdoor public venues. This is imperative because the environment and other citizens are being brought down. In addition, how do you think majority of the population feels having their lungs tampered with for just going outside or playing in the park. Society is loose with a great deal of things about having regulations but not this. 10 times more pollution comes from people smoking than industrialized form. That can damage many adults, adolescents and toddlers especially. Cleveland clinic states, non-smokers still inhale and absorb most of the nicotine. Breathing in fumes can also cause problems within minutes. Non-smokers also get some affects that may give them cancer. While being in contact with the fumes it causes symptoms that usually only smokers have. In addition, these health problems can transfer on to further generations. In the womb of pregnant women, smoking affects the birth of the child. It can cause stillbirth, premature birth, heart problems and etc… Children are especially vulnerable to smoking environment.
