The definition of an air mass is a large body of water that has different temperatures and humidity.

2. How are air masses classified? Air masses are classified by their different temperatures and moisture characteristics.

3. What is a front?

A front is the boundary from 2 air masses. They are classified by cold or warm fronts.

4. What are the 4 types of fronts?

The 4 fronts are cold, warm, stationary, occluded. A cold front is cold air that replaces warm air. A warm front is warm air replacing cold air. A stationary front is one that does not move and are parallel to the boundary. A occluded front is squished between cold and warm front.
