The scenario places me as a supervisor for Aston Police Department that has 166 sworn public safety officers. Officer Jane Roberts is a newly hired police officer which has completed her six-month probationary period as well as being placed in the top ten percent of both the police and fire academy. Her reason for the personal selection of Aston Police Department was the opportunity to obtain both police and fire training. Officer Roberts is a very knowledgeable officer in addition to having a baccalaureate degree in criminal justice she is outspoken within the department. Her supervisor SGT Williams assigned Officer Andrew Tibbetts as her FTO for her six-month FTO program. Officer Roberts completed her FTO program with an exceptional great approval from both SGT Williams and FTO Tibbetts (Police Integrity Public Service With Honor, 1997). Officer Roberts was seen with her FTO several times engaged in heated conversation as well as publicly socializing together.
